Hi everyone, I just receive my Astra 2 and I want to scan an underground space for art project.
I run with a MacbookPro M4 Max, 128Go RAM, 15.5 Sequoia.
I made a standalone, mobile, caméra, with light and screen control.
I have several issue. First, When I use the Orbbec SDK in macOS it did’nt recognize the Astra2. Or maybe, because I’m newby in dev skills, I make some mistake when I try to install the SDK. So, I use a VM with Unbuntu.
And what I want is to scan and visualize the construction of the scan with the control screen. I see differents solutions with RTabMap, ROS, or a non-realtime solution with OrbbecViewer and after I reconstruct with CloudCompare. I’m a little bit lost with all the compatibility and the process. If somebody have some ideas for a solid and clean pipline.
At the end I want a point cloud xyzRGB, with that I make signal traitement for deformation and naration.
