Data to Rhino 8

Hi,

I’m new here but I have a question to which I have not found any answer anywhere so maybe someone came accross the same questions…

I want to bring live depthdata to rhino 8 (rhinoceros) this exists for older depth cameras like azure from microsoft. Anyway, as I see it, I need to stream the data from the device (I have an astra 2) through the Orbbec SDK or Orbbec Viewer to a file and then have a python script in rhino grasshopper that checks for the file and imports the data. The second part I think should be realistic but with the first part I hope someone has experience. How to export a live stream of depthdata or the pointcloud itself to a file on the disk.

Issue Solved, we will make the solution available within an update of the Rhino Grasshopper PlugIn “Murmeli” by the end of the year.
