For a product we are developing (http://www.elektromeier.net/work/ele-book-prototype-1/) we need to combine a high resolution NIR-camera with a strong IR-Illuminator, with the orbec astra mini s. The problem is now that the illumination for the NIR-camera is reducing the contrast in the projected dot pattern for the astra, resulting in a large dead spot in the center of the depth image.
My plan to solve this problem is to use a different ir wavelength for the ir camera and an optical narrow bandpassfilter.
To find the right an illuminator/filter i need to know the wavelength of the orbbecs projector/filter?
is this information available somewhere? could find any…
It would also good to know how broad/narrow the spectrum of the astras filter is, so i can use a spectrum outside the astras filter…
