Astra S suddenly producing bad depth data

Hi, I’m running the Astra S on Windows 8.1 x64 and on Ubuntu 16.04. Initially working with the hardware was relatively painless, and the depth data in both examples and custom software appeared as expected. Then, while integrating the sensor into an existing software project, I noticed that the depth data suddenly looked wrong. In printing out the 16 bit depth values I can see that many of them are now negative. To rule out issues with the software I’m writing I ran the simple depth viewer examples from both the Astra SDK and OpenNI on both Ubuntu and Windows. While the color image looks like this:

I’m wondering if anyone else has run into this same issue. Is there some way to reset the hardware?

I have the same problem on my Astra Pro.
