we are trying to integrate the Gemini 435Le in our products, but we are facing issues with the hardware triggering, both from code and from the Orbbec Viewer GUI.

Purchase Date: 13 October 2025
Issue Description:
Detailed Description of the Issue (Highly Preferred): when the camera is in hardware trigger mode, it streams continuously. We expect instead the camera waiting for the external signal on the VSYNC cable.
Operating Environment:
Operating System and Version: WIndows 11, Ubuntu 20.04
Software Used with Camera and Version: Orbbec Viewer 2.5.5, Firmware 1.3.06
Steps to Reproduce the Issue:
Exact Steps Taken When Using the Camera: just connect the camere by Ehternet port, open the Orbbec Viewer > Camera > Device Control > Synchronization Configuration > Mode: Hardware Triggering > Write
Connection Schema: POWER IN to 24V, VSYNC IN to GND, SIGNAL GND to GND, POWER GND to GND, the rest not connected
Is the Issue Reproducible: yes
Troubleshooting Steps Attempted:
Restarting the Camera/Computer: Yes
Checking and Reconnecting All Cables: Yes
Trying the Camera on a Different Computer: Yes, both on Ubuntu and WIndows
Updating or Reinstalling Drivers/Software: Yes
Any Other Troubleshooting Steps Taken: (if appliable) tried also with the SDK 2.5.5 in C++, same behaviour.
