How does the Gemini 335 IR camera read QR codes in low light?

Hello everyone, I’m using the Gemini 335 IR camera (Intel RealSense) and encountering some difficulties in low-light conditions:

Recognition capability: In dark or extremely low-light environments, is the IR sensor of this model sensitive enough to clearly see details like QR codes? Or will the image be excessively noisy?

Additional light source: Is it necessary to equip an external IR LED?

Equipment advice: If an external IR LED is needed, what wavelength (850nm or 940nm) would be optimal for this sensor? What is the power rating? Are there any specific models I can refer to?

Installation: What are some tips on installing the LED to avoid glare on the QR code surface (usually glossy labels)?

I would greatly appreciate any experiences from those who have implemented this in practice. Thank you!
