How make an hard reset without unplugging the camera?

Hi everyone !

I try to make an “hard reset” function.
(I must use python so today, I work with primesense and OpenNI to use an Astra Stereo S U3 camera)
Does anyone have any idea how can I do a hard reset of the camera without unplugging it ? Or maybe how can I turn off the power to the camera without unplugging it ?

I’ve used a modified version of this script with a webcam. Change Teensyduino to whatever the lsusb says about your Astra. Might work.
