Missing .dll files when using VS 2017

Hi there,
I’m using Visual Studio 2017 with the redistributable packages installed.
I cannot now seem to get anything to run and keep getting the errors of:
VCRUNTIME140D.dll not found
and
MSVCP140D.dll was not found

Can anyone provide any assistance?

The current sdk requires visual studio 2015 … This can be coinstalled with 2017. Google has any number of guides on how best to do this.
