Yesterday I tried to use an Orbbec Astra outside, during the day. There was no signal at all, even under the shadow there was a very disturbed signal.
Is there a way to use these kind of cameras under the sunlight, or at least under the shadow?

As the technology used to get depth information is based on infrared, you wont be able to obtain signal in such an environnement. Keep looking for better ways to protect the camera and the scenery from being exposed to sunlight / reflected sunlight
Yes, the reflected sunlight is a big problem too.
