I am trying to mount the Persee on a robot. However, I need a battery power supply for the Persee. What size this the barrel connector ?

The power supply connector size of Persee is 4mm x 1.7mm.

If you under power the Persee would the Persee malfunction?

I know the Persee uses 5V 3A. If I use a 5V 2.5V from a battery supply then would the Persee stop working?

If 5V 2.5A is what you meant, then yes, it should work without any issue on Persee.
