Possible to synchronize Orbbec Femto Bolt and Azure Kinect RGBD?

Hello, I understand that the Orbbec Femto Bolt is a successor to the Azure Kinect RGB-D. My question is: can I synchronize these two devices?

@hb620 I have been lurking on this post to see if anyone from Orbbec provides an official answer, but based on some practical testing which I have done using external sync generators, this should be possible.

Either send a sync signal from the Kinect to the Bolt by connecting the Kinect’s Sync Out port to the Bolt’s Sync Port Pin 6, or go the other way by connecting the Bolt’s Sync Port Pin 3 to the Kinect’s Sync In port. (See pinout info listed in the Orbbec Sync Hub Datasheet - page 6 and Kinect documentation.)

Your software will have to make sure each camera starts in the correct sequence and sync mode, but otherwise I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

That said, I don’t know for sure, and welcome being told I am wrong, so try at your own risk.
