Update to newer version of Ubuntu

Hi,

I would like to update a Persee camera to a newer version of Ubuntu, that is much newer than the 16.04.
Ideally one of the 2020 version of Ubuntu would do the trick.

I need to have a newer Linux kernel as the camera seems to have some network related problems that come
form the very old version of the Linux kernel (3.10.x). Are newer versins of the Linux kernel supported for the
specific architecture of the Persee?

I’m having trouble finding proper guides on how to update the system and the kernel on the camera, so any
pointers would be very much appreciated.

Hi,

I’m coming back to this as it’s been already a week without an answer and meanwhile I did not
manage to find anything relevant to how I would update Ubuntu or the kernel. It seems that the
images available for Persee stop at 16.04 and that the rockchip-linux project that handles the kernel
for the SOC inside Persee does not really support newer kernel yet.

If anybody has any experience regarding updating the kernel or the Ubuntu version please let me
know, as any information at this moment would be highly appreciated.
