Use of a single cable to sync two cameras

We have a product based on two Kinect depth cameras and are looking to migrate to the Femto Bolt devices.

Currently we sync the two cameras using a 3.5mm audio cable and this works well for us.

Is it possible to sync two Femto Bolt cameras using a suitable crossover sync cable rather than adding a hub?

The cameras are only about 1m apart and I’m hoping the 1.8v sync pulse will be sufficient. I’m not sure we have space for all the extra sync hardware and cables otherwise.

Yes, it is possible to use a crossover to synchronize two Femto Bolt cameras. You can set up your own system based on the sync interface specs in the datasheet.
