Looking at modifying our hardware to replace an RGB camera with an Astra Embedded S Camera and have 2 really basic questions…
- Currently our system has a glass front panel, with a monitor and ordinary (2D/RGB) camera behind it. This works fine, the glass does not interfere with the camera operation
My question is would the Astra embedder operate OK behind a glass screen or does it need to be at the surface of the equipment… - The tech specs at Astra Embedded S – Orbbec are useful, but is there a more full drawing of the camera suitable to give to someone designing a system to house it… Ive searched the GitHub repo and the forum, but cant find anything
Ive just ordered a unit to start prototyping, but would appreciate if anyone could help on these 2 questions…
