Using multiples types of cameras

Dear people,

we have an Astra 2 camera, and we are really happy with the device. We have it mounted in a fixed place over a table.

Now, for our setup in robotics, we would like to buy two new more cameras to mount in our mobile robots. However, we are not sure which one to buy because we don’t know if they can work together. So, my questions:

  • If we have a structured light camera working in a table and arrive a robot with the same typo of camera, can both cameras work together looking the same place?

  • Can a TOF camera work together an structured light camera? Any combination?

We cannot use any sync mechanism because with the mobile we cannot use cable.
